The Elysees Union is a superior, first-class hotel located in the prestigious 16th district of Paris; and is within walking distance of the Boissiere metro station, which offers easy access to every part of this exciting city. The hotel is also just a short distance on foot or by metro from such exciting attractions as the Arc de Triomphe, the Champs Elysees, the lovely Trocadero Gardens and the famous Eiffel Tower.
This beautiful property is not only superbly located just steps from Paris' most celebrated shopping district on the Avenue des Champs Elysees; but, it has an exciting history as well. Originally constructed in the 19th century, the hotel was home to France's famous philosopher, Marcel Proust, from 1919 to 1922. The hotel's beautiful lobby and each of its spacious guest rooms are decorated with plush carpets, heavy draperies and lovely antiques that reflect the luxurious elegance of the 19th century; yet the hotel offers all of the modern comforts as well.
